1. The Jews wanted to denationalize and de-stabilize Germany by:

  • Sowing confusion
  • Lowering the racial level of the highest
  • Dominate the races by exterminating the intelligentsia (intelligent people)
  • Replace them (the intelligentsia) with members of the Jewish race
  • Race mixing, e.g. the Jews brought Blacks in the Rhineland – this led to the cohabitation of young black boys and white girls
  • race mixture with “inferior races” pull down the biology of the “superior  races”

2. Jews took over Russian and introduced Bolshevism (Communism)

  • Before the Jews, Russia was governed by Germanic speaking people, but because of the Jews, this Germanic ruling class in Russia is exterminated and extinguished
  • Now impossible for Russia to shake off – get rid of – the Jews by itself
  • Equally impossible for Jews to govern Russia forever
  • Jews lack organization – will result in disappearance of Russia

 

3. Jews Blamed for Germany’s Problems

  • Jews seen as scapegoats (someone to blame)
  • Blamed for Germany loss of WWI
  • Blamed for the economic crisis that faced Germany in the post- WWI era
  • Hitler needed something or someone to struggle against, and the symbol of the Jews served this purpose

Nazi Election Promises in 1933

  • Racism and anti-Semitism were taught in schools
  • Falsehoods and lies were spread about the Jews, other Europeans, Asians, and Africans
  • Curriculum altered to fit Nazi thinking

Attack at Dresden, April 5, 1933

  • Four weeks after the elections, Nazis attacked the Jews at Dresden
  • Five (5) of the Polish Jews arrested were forced to drink one-half litre of caster oil
  • Males were forcibly shaved or had their hair cut into steps or torn out by the roots,
  • Jewish shops and businesses were boycotted
  • Jews could not swim in public swimming pools; “Jews not Welcome” signs
  • Doctors and dentist of Jewish descent were harassed and lost their patients

NUREMBERG LAWS, September 15, 1935

  • Laws passed in 1935 that removed the citizenship and civil rights of all Jews in Germany
  • These laws formalized the unofficial and specific measures taken against Jews up to 1935
  • The Nazi leaders made a point of stressing the consistency of this legislation with the Party program, which demanded that Jews should be deprived of the rights as citizens

Law for the Protection of German Blood and German Honour

  • Prohibited marriages and extra-marital intercourse between “Jews” (the name was now officially used in place of “non-Aryans”) and “Germans” and also the employment of “German” females under forty-five (45) in Jewish households

Law for the Protection of Hereditary Health: The Attempt to Improve the German Aryan Breed, July 14, 1933

  • This law attempted to maintain the “purity” of the German blood
  • The Reich Citizenship Law
  • Stripped Jews of their German citizenship and introduced a new distinction between “Reich citizens” and “nationals”.

IMPLICATION OF THE NUREMBERG LAWS

  • Jews were essentially declared non-citizens and non-persons in Germany
  • Paved the way for legal actions to be taken by any German against the Jews
  • Disallowed the Jews the right to associate with, marry, or cohabit with anyone of their choice
  • Legitimized Hitler’s  policy to rid Europe of anything Jewish and energized the Aryanization of Germany

KRISTALLNACHT, (NIGHT OF BROKEN GLASS), NOVEMBER 10, 1938

  • The third secretary Earnest von Rath was murdered by a young Jewish man in Paris
  • Anti-Jewish attitudes against Jews boiled over into full scale riot on the night of  Nov. 10, 1938
  • SS and SA wreaked vengeance on the Jews
  • 7,000 Jewish shops, homes, and synagogues were burned down
  • 20,000 Jews were arrested and sent to concentration camps
  • Hundreds more were severely beaten
  • A huge fine was then levied on the Jewish people
