- To start using Turnitin, go to http://www.turnitin.com and log in using the following information:
- Click on NEW USER in the top right corner of the page.
- Click on CREATE A USER PROFILE
- Click on STUDENT in the Create a New Account box
- Enter the following information: (EXAMPLE INFO- Your Teacher will provide this)
- Class ID CLN 4U0A: 3132391 Password: CSN6UOA (NOTE: this is a zero)
- Class ID CLN 4U0B: 3138331 Password: CSN8UOB (NOTE: this is a zero)
- Complete the blanks in the USER INFORMATION section (name and email address). Note: I will NOT EVER access your email.
- Complete the blanks in the PASSWORD AND SECURITY section. Note: Keep track of your password.
- Click on the “I agree – create profile” button
- Follow the instructions from there on how to submit a paper.
- Please be aware of the due dates for all assignments – YOU HAVE UNTIL 12:00AM (MIDNIGHT) ON THE DUE DATES TO SUBMIT YOUR WORK. THESE ARE ABSOLUTE DEADLINES. WORK WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AFTER THEY HAVE EXPIRED.
